FAQ
Location
Masselin Park West Apartments is about 30 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Nestled along Wilshire Boulevard, Miracle Mile is renowned for its proximity to "Museum Row," home to institutions like the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), The Petersen Automotive Museum, and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. This cultural hub provides residents with unparalleled access to world-class art and entertainment. The neighborhood is also well-served by public transit, including the Metro D Line (Purple) and several bus routes, facilitating easy commutes to other parts of the city. Miracle Mile's combination of cultural amenities, central location, and more affordable rental options make it a standout choice for many renters in Los Angeles.
- Cultural Capital of L.A.: Miracle Mile is home to “Museum Row,” a dense concentration of some of L.A.'s most iconic cultural institutions. This makes it one of the few neighborhoods where world-class art, science, and film history are part of everyday life.
- Walkability in a Car-Centric City: Unlike many parts of L.A., Miracle Mile is highly walkable. With cafes, restaurants, small markets, and cultural attractions lining Wilshire Boulevard and adjacent streets, residents can run errands or enjoy a night out without needing to drive.
- Transit-Ready & Centrally Located: The area offers direct access to major transit routes, including the Metro’s D (Purple) Line extension, making commuting easier than in many other L.A. neighborhoods.
- Urban Energy with a Neighborhood Feel: Despite its central location and proximity to dense urban areas, Miracle Mile retains a residential charm. Tree-lined streets, mid-century architecture, and a mix of restored buildings and modern apartments create a neighborhood that feels both lively and livable.
- Explore World-Class Museums: One of the top draws is “Museum Row,” featuring LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Petersen Automotive Museum, La Brea Tar Pits and Museum.
- Enjoy Café Culture and Dining: Miracle Mile is lined with cozy cafés, trendy eateries, and global cuisine. Residents often frequent Met Her/ Him at a Bar, Republique, and Sugarfish.
- See Indie Films or Attend Screenings: Film enthusiasts can catch independent and international movies at nearby theaters or attend special screenings and talks at the Academy Museum’s David Geffen Theater, often hosted by industry professionals.
- Shop Local Boutiques and Art Stores: While Miracle Mile isn’t a shopping mecca like Melrose or The Grove, residents appreciate local boutiques and occasional pop-up art or vintage markets in the area. The Miracle Mile Art Walk, when hosted, showcases galleries and creative spaces along Wilshire.
